Headlight, Running Lights, and Turn Signal Problem

I got home today for Thanksgiving break and it was semi nice out so I decided to take my car for a spin since it probably isnt bad to do everynow and they while in storage awayways. During my drive it starting to get dark so I turned on my head lights but they didn't come on. The inside lights work and they pop up but not lights. Something else I noticed was that the gauge cluster high beem light was lighted up. I tried switching them to high beems and that didn't do anything either. I got out of the car and notice that the running lights werent on and that the turn signals werent working either.

I was just wondering if anyone had simular problems and knew where to start looking. I know I'll be able to fix it tomorrow but fixing it in 5 min would be better than 5 hours. Thanks.

this is an old thread, but...

a very similar problem has been happening to me lately.

i turn my parking lights on, everything is fine. when i turn the headlights on, only the passenger side one pops up, and the "brights" blue light in the gauge cluster is lit up, and my drivers side turn signals are stuck on...
i assumed it was a faulty headlight switch, so i replaced it and it wasnt the problem -it still does it.
anyone else had this problem???

Headlight relay

Same problem as Jacob above,

Does anyone know if the headlight relay also controls power to the parking lights and turn signals? My headlights, turn signals, hazards, and parking lights all decided to stop working yesterday - car had not been driven for a month. Headlight buckets will not pop up but I can force them up with the dashboard override switch.

Brake lights DO work.

Checked all fuses - and am going to check the headlight relay today.

But of course, after letting it sit over night at a friend's house and driving it back to my garage this AM, now all the lights are working as they should...

I love electrical problems...

Jim

its CPU #2 right in the drivers side kick panel by your feet. its a black box with a big 20 pin connector in it. it controls the blinkers, key lights, door beeps, horn, and a bunch of other stuff. i got in my car the other day and when i started it the headlights popped up and horn was blowing by itself and wouldnt stop. i pulled the kick panel off and jiggled the connector and wires and it "fixed" it. for now......
