Having with problems with the Alarm going off. HELP

For some reason my alarm keeps on going off and I can't get it to shut off. I've checked the continuity in most of the switches, doors, hatch back and hood. I've had all these shut and used the key to disengage but nothing works. Anybody have any experience on this matter. I wonder if the CPU 2 has gone bad. The one in the driver kick panel.

Thanks for the help.

CPU #2 could have gone bad. Another likely possibility is that your battery is low (which can cause CPU #2 to act funky.)

Hit the nail on the head with that one. It's located under the driver's side kick pnl. Does your key warning & lights on buzzer work? Mine started acting up when CPU #2 went funky.

Once or twice a month my car would honk the horn & cycle the headlights (just once) during the middle of the night.

I purchased a new one for around $150 (Mazda Motorsports). Ray can hook you up if your not a racer

I'm glad I saw this post.

Is there a way to test to see if your alarm is functional?

Lights up / down. Honking horn etc. etc.

Lock your car with the window down, reach through & open the door with the inside door handle.

The Body Electric manual in the stickies has a set of diagnostic procedures.
