lmfao...Your WRONG. The shifter your talking about is called the stillway. It locks out gears so you can ONLY go up...can't ever go down unless you release the locking mechanism. How do I know...seen 2 here in Japan.

All this talk about "extreme"...you guys crack me up! IF YOU DON'T HAVE PERSONAL EXPERIENCE WITH THE ITEM, THEN WHY ARE YOU POSTING?

i dont care about looks, but the price mostly, and it possibly being only for RHD cars. imo, it looks badass in Jspec's car, i just do NOT have that kind of $ laying around that i can drop it on a shifter. if they could fit it for LHD and get it down to around 5-600, then i might be able to swing it.

I don't recommend it at all for LHD cars because of their design. It is quite expensive, but I figure as much $$$ as I've dumped into my money pit....errr....RX-7 I could buy it. I sure as hell didn't buy it NEW...lol...

hey vanny? didnt dragon have that on his car cause he kept misshifting like a little hoe

and the stillway has a metal ring at the base of the shifter boot that you turn, you go from 1 to 2, and then it has a spring that pushs it to 3, then shift to 4th.
it forces the shifter into 3rd no matter what when you push the lever forward.
it can only upshift in 1-4 gears and you have to turn the ring the other way to use your normal h pattern again

Yes Mr. Node, that is Dragon's old shifter. He figured he'd just get a daily driver and be done with mis-shifting...lol.
