Have you changed your clutch switch yet?
Recently my 7 developed another problem (radiator started to leak 1/2 a month ago, koyo's r sure purty). . . putting it in gear at a stop while holding down the clutch would make the car rumble, like it was dying out so my idle would bounce.
After searching the forums for the answer...... a new clutch switch! So I ordered one from Malloy ($10ish, even open on saturday.) and now it's back to normal, except there is a humming noise now which isn't too loud because it gets muffled from the mini backfires i get. When i put the old one back in it doesn't make that humming sound, maybe i got a defective one? Well i guess it's better then my car shaking.
My old clutch switch had dirt around it and the plastic part that gets pushed in and out was stuck half way, guess it was worn out. So anyone with similar problems maybe a new clutch switch is the answer, it's only 10ish dollars.

I had this exact problem, although my car was stalling out. Rather than buying a new clutch switch, I removed mine and pulled it apart., and repaired the broken spring with a similar spring that I found in an el-cheapo ball point pen.
5000km later and no problems, cheap to fix if it happens again!

For info, I haven't checked if my car (RHD, Aus delivered) has the clutch interlock switch, but I can definately start it without the clutch pedal in.

And this one will make it a PITA to drive. When you push in the clutch and roll to a stop from low speeds, the engine will die if the "top" switch is bad.

I'm wanting to install this nice Viper alarm I got with remote start.
Won't work with manuals though, unless I bypass/bridge the clutch switch.
But hey, then I can just poke the Viper unit towards my window @ my car, and start her up to warm her up for when I work early in the morn.
Just better make sure I don't leave it in gear. @_@
