pure - Yes it makes sense. You win too! I've appreciated your activity on the forum before and after becoming a vendor and I do expect to utilize you at some point.

adam - don't take it too personally. its a bit of an odd situation given the history of this forum. Even before IB took over there was some of this stuff going on once the concept of paying vendors was introduced.

I understand what you are saying. I think if you stated that you make no profit on selling the package maybe it would be ok. It would be a real shame if they banned you for offering a free (to you) service to the community. I do however think that if you did make money by advertising here, you should be charged a fee but that doesn't seem like the case here.

I don't think he should have to state anything, this is the 3rd gen section not the vendor forum. You should be able to ask a question about a product without getting blasted with blatant sales pitches from vendors. Keep that in the vendor forums. That said I'm glad Purerx7 stepped up where others were lacking.

I have limited experience with FD intakes all I know is:

Apexi: Pisses me off, might have good filters, but it pisses me off and takes up too much room

Stock box mod: lol? cool if you dont have any money to spend i suppose

AutoEXE: pure sex

M2: amazing

SRmotorsports: Ripped of designs and severely inflated prices.

What I'd like to do is ditch my Apexi intake and grab the fighters garage model, and make something similar to the M2/SR model.

I meant that if mods ask, stating that he makes no profit should make everything ok.

Even though I would really like the forums much better if their were no vendor charges and even I could sell stuff without being a vendor I do see the need for the money the vendor charges bring in. The problem occurs when people can just freely sell what they want anywhere. If they can do that, whats the point of having vendors and charging them x amount per month? My thought process on the whole subject is probably incorrect though. I'm sure I must be missing something.
