My pattern is 11.5 8 10

My only mod is a custom 3" exhaust.

oh and i've read that boost should drop to 8 psi when u're at 6000 rpm but for me it dropped at ca 5500 rpm. this could be because mine is european:

240 HP
redline at 7000 rpm.

no it stays up there.
But if a spike is from 3000 rpm to transition in 4th gear then yes it is a spike. But i guess thats not a spike.

custom 3" exhaust straight through? I.e. no cat, no muffler, no pre-cat... don't get an intake. You're just experiencing boost spike from opening up the airflow. I'd get a home depot boost controller (do a search, you should find a plethora of info).

So... you have a 3" exhaust tip? I don't understand why you're even getting 11.5psi then.

you coudl have torn hoses at the wastegate and prespool, i woudl check those out. make sure u check both sides, one where the air enters teh wastegate and the other where air exits and all teh way up to the solenoids. and might as well test teh solenoids too whil eu are at it
