Has anyone used Rejex on your FD??

I ordered a bottle and will be applying to both the
bimmer and FD.. Ill report back after i apply and get
some experience with it..

I wonder if any of you have had any experience with this
polymer.. Supposed to be the next best thing since sliced
bread.. All the super car enthrusist are using it, lamborigini, ferrari,
porsche/big boat owners..

Here is a link, from where I found info on this product.
Its like RainX for the whole damn car. but doesn't etch glass
and does not leave white residue...

So people are even using it on their brake calipers and inside the engine bay.

I know its not my car and all but I wouldn't suggest waxing your car so much. Wax build up is bad for your paint. You really only need about 3-4 coats of good quality wax. Meguiers is what I recommend.

I use Rejex on my RX7 and I could not get a better shine with any sort of wax or teflon sealant. When I first got my car, I had them put a 10 year teflon sealant on and it looked great but compared to Rejex, there is no comparison, Rejex makes it shine even better. I even tried Meguiars Gold Class and that didn't come close either. I was introduced to using Rejex after using it on my 5 series and I'm pretty convinced that spending money on teflon sealant is a waste when you can get a small bottle of Rejex for 20 bucks and it does a better job.

I've never seen it at Walmart, just go to:

http://www.corrosionx.com/rejex.html

I swear by this stuff on both my 5 series and my FD.

Did you use it on Glass objects, Rims and under the hood??
Im very curious if it works like rainX on glass, with out the etching.
And if i can wash my rims by just Hosing it, That in itself will be worth
it.

PureRX7.. Yes I believe you can only order it thru thier website.
or authorized dealers.. They do have a link.. You can not buy it at wallmart
or advanced auto.

Its amazing that this product was never advertised, and its spreading
around the world by word of mouth.. Is simply amazing.. Just goes
to show that a good product is a good product..

Good enough for 100 Million Dollar Jet Fighters and Lambos and Ferraris..
Good enough for my FD..

I should be getting it hopefully early next week.. UPS Ground...

True but i use standard dish soap on my car so by the time i wash it the second time, water no longer beads on it. I use Meguires.

No, I didn't use it on my glass or rims or under the hood. I figure just regular ol elbow grease are good enough for those.

sorry but i rather use something else. i had a few friends that tried it on there cars and werent impressed with it at all, it just doesnt give the depth and reflection like P21S, S100, natty's, klasse twins, and 4 stars ultimate paint protection does.
lol @ "I wouldn't suggest waxing your car so much".... and "i use standard dish soap on my car"...i hope your using Dawn to strip wax, anything else is gona kill your paint in no time.

You are most likely damaging your paint waxing it that often. How many swirl marks does your paint have? Once every three to four months (or less if garaged) should be plenty.

I think the Reje X is not to replace the wax, isn't it? I would help seal the paint and protect, but not to create the ultimate shine, gross, or depth of top wax or polish. Also, iirc, the Reje X isn't recommended to be on top of wax. Don't remember if we could wax on top of Reje X layer tho.

loook...theres no such thing as "waxing your car too often can cause damage". if you know how to apply it correctly it wouldnt causes swirls. vertical on the hood and roof and horizontal on the sides to prevent swirls. also you need a good applicator (i just perfer a MF towel shaped folded). even if you dont apply it correctly it WILL NOT damage the paint. swirls are minor since it can be remove by polishing compound (poor boys ssr 2.5, menzerna, poorboys 3.0, etc). so you can put on as many coats of wax as you want and it wouldnt matter. layering 3 or more coats of carnuaba wax is useless since its not synthetic wax which can be layered. so go on wax your car every two weeks

also. yes you can wash your car with dish wash soap. but ONLY DAWN! anything else can cause serious strip down on the clearcoat. but dawn will remove ~ 2/3 of the wax so your going to have to rewax after the Dawn wash. if you dont want to strip your wax just go get some freaking car wash soap, its not expensive. also to prevent swirls use a sheep skin wash mitt and 2 5 gallon buckets. one for soapy water and one to rinse off the mitt.

Not to be a jerk but, how do you know that it won't damage the paint? I have worked at a detail shop before and I was always under the impression that waxing that often is not good for the paint. My friend used to do the same thing to his prelude and 2 years later his paint was so shitty. Oxidized, faded, and the paint was falling off.

I painted cars for a living and that is not true. Waxing serves two purposes to fill in minor scratched and protect the paint. Every time you wax your car you are taking small layers of paint off the car even with non-abrasive types. It may take years but trust me over waxing is not good for your cars finish.

Wax your car when it stops beading water.

Rubbing an applicator (be it a cotton cloth or foam applicator etc.) always causes microscopic scratches in the paint no matter how careful you are because you will always drag some amount of debris over the paint. Doing it with a circular motion will cause swirls; using a cross hatch motion will cause straight line scratches.

swirls are minor since it can be remove by polishing compound (poor boys ssr 2.5, menzerna, poorboys 3.0, etc). so you can put on as many coats of wax as you want and it wouldnt matter.
Fercryingoutloud, do you know what polishing does? It removes a thin layer of paint (or hopefully clearcoat) to bring the surface of the paint down the the base of the scratch so that the overall effect is smooth. Polishing should be done only when absolutely necessary (every two to three years or more) because each time you polish you reduce the depth of the paint.

Applying a coat of wax before the previous layer is gone (which should take months) is completely and utterly pointless.

If you want that just waxed look, apply some spray shine (Griot's stuff is good) and buff it dry. It will bind with the existing wax and will actually look better than wax alone.
