Has anyone used the Nagisa Low-profile seat rails?

http://www.more-japan.com/xcart/cata...l-p-16251.html

Doesn't give a height measurement... was wondering if they were actually any lower than the stock rails. Looking to gain any headroom possible. Thanks

This will only work on aftermarket seats, so you're looking at a substantial investment for the seats and everything. There's also no guarantee if that will give you more headroom.

I'd drive the car for a while before you start planning anything. Again, I'm 6'6" and fit great with no headroom problems. I could use a bit more legroom, or at the least a smaller and closer to me steering wheel.

These Nagisa seat rails now seem to have become readily available in North America.

Anyone have any experience with them?

I have heard they are real low 1/2 inch off the ground. Only problem is they only work with
narrow seats!! Now Evos or Status etc. I think the Bride low rails work though! I am trying to find some thing to work with my seats. other wise I have to go a custom route

You're right on the narrow seats.

A llittle net search seems to reveal they can only accomodate a 395mm (15.6 inch)wide shell.

You could try the combo that I have in this picture. I have a removable steering wheel adaptor which placed the wheel a good 2" closer to me and, the wheel is 320 mm, so it leaves tons of room for large people. The removable wheel makes getting in and out far easier, as well.

Also, I mounted these seats just with the Cobra side brackets to the car directly without sliders. After all, if I am the only driver of the car (which is a fact) then why bother with two sets of heavy sliders. A fixed mounting works perfect for me and for any passenger. Stock sliders are near 10 lbs per seat.
