Just curious as to whether anyone has heard or done this moddification.Afterall a supercharger for our cars would be more practical as far as low end response.

There have been 2nd gen supercharger kits, and I know some 2nd gen guys have figured out how to rig Thunderbird superchargers on for a cheap boost solution.

Turbos, at least on a rotary, seem to make more power. I think the relatively low torque of the rotary hurts making REALLY big power with a supercharger.

thanx for the hook up mahjik.I kind of figured I wasnt the first to think of this.
The reason I even asked is becuase Ive heard that the mazdaspeed version of the rx8 will be supercharged. So I figured there might be a reason that mazda was going this route.
