Has anybody hooked up nos to the stock interooler???
I'am thinking of getting a 75 shot of nos and hooking it up to my stock intercooler, i've heard of this being done and its called the fogging system or something, but what it does is the nitrous will cool the charge of the air in the intercooler then out to the turbos, you know what happens when the turbos get cooler denser air, more power. Has anybody done this, because i want to i think its saves a bundle instead of getting an aftermarket intercooler.

The air in your intercooler has already gone though the turbos. Fogging is when a nitrous plate is installed beneath a carburator. If you are going to install nitrous, put the nozzle in the elbow by the throttle body.

do you mean spraying the IC with Nitrous oxide? It might make a bit of a difference, but I would rather upgrade the IC. You will run out of nitrous oxide but the upgraded IC will always be there.
The upgraded IC makes a huge difference, and is a great piece of mind.

If I were to spend the money for nitrous I'd hook it up correctly. You'll get colder intake air by injecting it into your mixture rather that just spraying the IC.
If you just want to make your IC cold use a bottle of CO2

like SPO said. use a 20lb bottle of CO2. its about $9.50. and dont feel like spending money on an IC. do what i did, use an isuzu npr IC. can be had very cheap and flow great. use the search function to find more info in the IC if you are not familiar. (that is if the search function is working when you read this )

this one is a pic of one installed in a 91 vert. has 3in inlet and outlets.
do you need the flow rates of the IC? yeah?
ok....The NPR IC: at 329cfm and 290°F on the inlet side of the IC, the
pressure
drop is 0.09psi. The outlet temp is 130°F, heat rejected is 55553
BTU/hr, and
the calculated heat exchange area is 1404 square inches.

len, they are just random pipes that were sitting around jim's shop. one of them is from a 300z's intake. the rest are aluminum (the z's is plastic) the ones going under/inbetween the rad. is just 3in rubber hose. yeah its kinda rigged for now, just a *sketch* of what is needed for gambordella to do the pipe work.
i'm not quite done on mine for my fd. my turboII's is done though. and the tII was run with the ic upright as opposed to jim's run *upsidedown*.
hey len, you know what i wanted to ask you...do you happen to have an extra set of stock primary 550's? let me know. if i dont hear back from you on here, i will hunt your *** down, put your food in a freezer and make you eat it COLD!. either that or i'll just call you.
