Has anybody ditched the power steering cooler?

Just gonna start fabricating a Vmount, but i could do with loosing the ps cooler. Just wondered if anybody has done this and if it would be ok?

uh, didnt think fds had powersteering coolers, do u mean ac condensor possibly?

^--It does. The stock PS cooler is just a little loop of metal. I'll try to find a pic.

Only if you're ditching the power steering as well.

Fd's do have ps coolers. It's just a piece of S bended steel pipe in the mouth of the front bumper.

I was thinking about buying a cooler the size of our oil coolers, putting it were the R1's have the second oil cooler and running lines to it if i did a V mount.

Well im gonna go with a small oil cooler i think. Just a bit smaller than stock, and mount it behind one of my oil coolers.

Just mount the look under the radiator. That is what I do on vmounts.
