Harness question - 93' RX-7

I have a question on the wiring harness on a 93' RX-7 Touring. There is a harness of about 7-10 wires that splits off the main harness in the back of the engine compartment. The harness then looks as though it runs under the car itself. I'm kind of worried about this harness and what it does as it runs above the pre-cat and the main black plastic housing is missing. I'm sure the wires have had their fair share of heat and are probably brittle. As far as I can tell, there is an orange, brown, and black wire ( all others were obscued from view) with white tracers on them.

I haven't gotten my service manual yet and was wondering if anyone could look this up. Also, is the the harness that may be responsible for that one TSB that was issued for engine fires?

Yeap those goes to the tranny.
The covers is brittle. So I took all the cover off, and buy a new wire cover, and zip ties it to any available place, to keep if from touching any metal...
