I have installed a new engine harness on my 93 R1 (N3A1-18-05ZG) and noticed that there is an extra connector for the EL unit (16pin black). When it is plugged in, I have no check engine light - when I check the electrical diagram - it appears that the harness is missing some wires (including the signal to the check engine light). Anyone heard of this before? Anyone know where this connector is on previous versions (like maybe the dash harness?). Thanks for any help.
