Harness question

I'm in the process of replacing my main harness that goes from my Power FC, behind the dash, out under the drivers side fender, around the front of the engine bay, back under the passanger side fender and back inside the car. I have all the connectors undone in the engine bay from the old one. I need to know how in depth I need to go to take the dash off for replacing this harness. I did a search and a few guys were saying to pull out the seats and center section where the shifter is along with the steering wheel just to get started. Is it really going to be that big of a pain in the ***? also, does anyone have a pic diagram of the dash or directions on how to take it apart? Where there are screws and what just clips in place? I am known for breaking things so I'm trying to prevent this from happening. thanks for the help

Replacing my harness because I bought lowering springs and I had AIM tuning in Indy put them on. I asked them to check out my shocks because the drivers side tire was catching the fender and fliping it out. come to find out AIM put the new spring on a blown shock on the drivers side anyways. this eventually ate away at the harness which as cost me a lot of $$. This was after I had them check out my trans because it was hard to get it into reverse. they took the tranny apart and replaced a bushing. As I drove away my 5th gear was gone. They broke the 5th gear sincro. while they were in there, which they made me pay for. I get my car home and 1,500 miles later the front main seal on the tranny began leaking. I WILL NEVER GIVE A.I.M. TUNING A DIME OF MY MONEY AGAIN! My business now goes to Chris Sanders of WWW.BanzaiRacing.net in North East Indiana.

PM me your email address. I just had mine out the other day. It took me 1 hour to get it out. And about 1/2 to get it back in. The steering wheel does not need to come off. Just unbolted from the dash support. I'll send you pics of what is left after the removal and describe to you a few tips for where all the connectors are for it. It is involved,... but NOT difficult. Just have to rip almost everything out of the car!! Which is fun for me!

There are only 8 bolts that hold it on.And it only weighs like 40 pounds maybe. It is just an awkward shape to carry and move around inside the car.To get it out the door
