harness connector question

ive been researching harness simplification for a couple days now, and i finally decided to get started. my goal is to eliminate all emissions equipment and go non-sequential. apart from wire diagrams and other helpful things i came across, i have been using this harness picture. i am finding a couple differences though.

my main question is this long gray connector in my hand is not shown in the diagram.

i was just wondering if anybody could tell me what this connector goes to, and if it is necessary. also if someone could tell me if there are major differences between the years of rx7s. also, this harness comes off a J-spec crate motor. i am pretty sure the one in the picture above is off an american harness. anyways any help would be much appreciated, thanks

Looks like the (stock) airpump connector.

It depends on the year of the JDM harness. If it's from a 92-95, then it should pretty much be the same aside from being a different length than the US harness.

hmmm, il match it up to see if it fits on the stock air pump. if this is the air pump, then what about the one that is labeled air pump on the diagram?

If you look on the diagram, it says "replaced".
