Hey guys!
First time posting here.
I got a 1993 RX7 Touring and I just finished rebuilding the engine.
One of the previous owners has done some modifications to the wiring such as deleting all the solenoids in the "rats nest".
So I bought a Rywire 13B engine harness and am looking to swap out the wiring harness.
Still kind of a newbie concerning modifying and electrical systems.
Here is where I am at the moment.
I still havent put together the engine completely because of the wiring.
Basically I was wondering if someone can point out to me how to remove the engine harness completely?
Also the connector on the Rywire harness is for Adaptronics stand alone ECU and the ECU I have in the car is an Haltech E6K which is pretty old.
I was wondering if its possible/practical to swap the connectors so that I can use the Haltech ECU instead of paying ~$1,300 for an Adaptronics ECU? Haltech Connector Rywire Harness connectors for Adaptronics ECU Haltech E6K Standalone ECU Haltech E6K Standalone ECU
Anybody knowledgeable in Rx7's around Boise, Idaho area?
Thanks
