Angry had RX-7 for less than a month

I bought my "7" three weeks ago. This Saturday I went to the mall I come out, where is the f*#king car, GONE!!!Some low life desided that it would be nice to steal my "7" when is bone stock when there was a nice one four cars down (my friends "7"). At least theinsurance will pay the blue book value of the car wish is more than what I pay but have to wait 30 days before they make it official.

If you own a rotary powered car in Puerto Rico trust me they want that motor. They put rotaries even on bikes!

So, are you getting another FD? Do a little detective work, maybe you can still recover it... maybe. You never know! Imagine the insurance pays for the FD and you find it!.............................

If only you would have put in an immobiliser. Or, had a PowerFC and set the rev limiter to something like 1krpm. It would have been interesting to see an FD going so slow. Surely the police would have pulled it over. The above are what i'm looking into for my FD. Most people on this forum would agree that alarm systems don't do much in terms of car protection. If the thief wants it, he's gonna get it. I think slowing down the car and even preventing it from getting started are much better preventative measures than loud noises.

Thata really messed up. We work our lives for these luxeries and people think its ok to steal from the working people because their too god damn lazy to pay for their own ****. This sort of crap really pisses me off.

Someone tried stealing my friends car (Phil) when he got into his car. The guy didn't even have a weapon, he tried to pull him out. So my friend whipped his *** then called the police.

It was kinda of good of you to post this up for everyone to read. Helps as kind of a reality check not to take our possesions for granted and to take better care of them. Not saying you neglected to take care of your car or took it for granted. Just my 2 lincolns.

They should make it federal crime to steal and burn a Rx-7 for parts. It is absolutely one of the most exciting cars ever to have been made. When I drive my Rx-7 around I feel like a whole another person. Its been really aggravating dealing with the low gas mileage and all the little aggravations of owning one of these but everytime I drive it I feel so damn good!!! And so many people really respect me for having one. If I did not have my car this last three years I think I might have jumped off a building. It is a total high everytime you get into it. But now that gas is getting crazy I really am thinking of dropping a V8 in just for the gas mileage and reliability.

I heard you could set the rev limiter a bit lower, and do some other setup so that the car could not start properly? I'm not too familiar with the power FC, so I may have this wrong.

Sorry to hear about the car getting stolen.

There should also be a law against not having some sort of immobiliser in an rx7. If you park one of these without one, well, I wouldn't say you get what you deserve but I would say what did you expect?

F*in lazy bastards. Get a job, but your own car, don't steal ours. And don't burn it, god take the engine if you want it, engines can be replaced easier than whole cars.

Sorry to hear it. When I park in a less than desirable place (which doesnt happen often), I pull the fuse out of the fuel injectors so the car cant start, even if they have the key. Keep it in mind for next time.
