Guy with 911 Turbo rather have a FD

Yesterday a gentleman and his hot-looking wife parked right next to me at the health club I go to. They drive a sick charcoal gray 2002 Porsche 911 Turbo with an exotic european aero kit. He checked out my FD and said that "HE RATHER HAVE THE FD THAN THE 911 TURBO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" my dropped to the ground when I heard that. He told me that the FD was initially the car of his choice until his wife told him to get the 911. he really envies the stock FD i possess...makes me feel real good.

lol. I'd take the 911 myself, being my favorite car. the fd looks better but the 911 is reliably a faster car.

I was so in awe of his comment, I really didn't know what to say. I thought he was smoking crack when he said that. I just keep wondering why he would want a FD over a Porsche 911.

I thought he was just trying to be nice as well, but when he started to talk about the rotary engine and how fickle it is...maybe he does want a FD!!!

his wife looks like a straight gold-digger...her ***** are bought, and collagen in her lips. the reason I know it's not a mistress is because of her huge *** diamond ring!!!

personally i'd rather have an FD over something with a better name, more value, more speed... (i did make this decision BEFORE i ever knew i would be getting an FD, so dont try to tell me one of aesop's fables)

its fast enough for me and is much prettier. thats why it has been my dream car. not everyone cares about how much they can sell their car for later.

if i was rich i'd buy an FD and do some sort of v10/v12 conversion.

A friend of mine, who used to own a heavily modded FD, now sells Porsches for a living. He has driven 996 TTs and GT2s, yet still says that the FD, IF working properly, is more fun to drive than the P-cars.

I'll keep my Mazda. Its just as fast if not more. At least mine is anyway and parts as expensive as they are do not come close to the prices Porsche suppliers are getting.

I've heard this from many- current Porsche/former FD owners. If I was rich, I'd still own an FD(s).
