gurgling sound

hey everyone, this is in regards to the car im in the process of getting, sadly since i dont actually have it yet, my information and ability to check it will be somewhat limited. anyways, the car is a 1995 with 66000 km's on it. when i took it for a test drive, everything seemed fine, but after i turned off the car and checked under the hood, i noticed a gurgling/bubbling sound coming from around the turbos. i did search this but i found the results to be to inconsistant. some people saying the engine's about to blow, others saying its a common problem. but most of the answers were applying to 1993 which apparently had weaker hoses. with the low mileage i doubt the engine is going (no smoke, just a little condensation from exhaust on start up, no smell) but then again, anything is possible.

It is a common issue. Search with terms like "boiling" in the title and see what you come up with. Usually air in the cooling system and is nothing serious.

yea, i made sure to check right away. most of the posts came up with just air in the cooling, but there were a couple that said it was the seals or lines going and would have to be repared/replaced. thx for the response, it help put my mind at ease lol.

On the other hand, if you hear a rushing or gurgling noise in the heater core area (right side passenger footwell) then it is usually a signal you have compromised coolant seals ('O' rings) and can expect a rebuild soon.
Seriously though....the engine in that car is way to young to have bad problems, unless it got overheated a few times or something.
Good luck!
