Guess what I drove to work in today?

My sparkling, seemingly new and beautiful 1995 Montego Blue RX7. Damn it's fine.

Just want to give you all a shout out for making my purchase a smart and informed one. This forum is indespensible to any RX7 owner.

Argh! ....I just oooooovvvvveeee it. I'm afraid I might get fired from my job because it's such a distraction.

I love how the tac gauge is the focal point of the dash.
I love how every where I go I get dem' looks. (probably going to get annoyed with this soon, but for now it just reinforces my concept that this car is BEAUTIFUL.)
I love that I can keep my left leg up and comfortable (yea, it's an auto.)
I love waking up in the morning and having my first cig. while gazing at this beautiful machine.
I love the excitment I feel everytime i sit in the cockpit.

Damn... I can't believe what I've been missing out on. Right on guys... Have a happy turkey day...

Cheers.

I think that is just about every 3rd gen owners experiance... All of the things you mentioned I love about the car too. There is just some feeling that I get sitting in one that I don't seem to get when sitting in any other car. The feeling that you are sitting in a car that is a "true sports car" and that everything is focused around the most important part of the car, the driver. But maybe this is just me... At any rate, right on.. and :1party:

I believe what you have just described is as close as you can come to an orgasm without all that messy sex. I still feel the same way about mine after 8 and 1/2 years.

right on!

Yes, you definitely are more than just a car owner when you have an FD. It borders on a religious experience.....

I am fast approaching the point of getting my new garage finished on the inside, just a few more sheets of sheet rock and then the tape and mud and painting, and then.....I want to either paint with epoxy paint or tile the floor with a black and white checkerboard pattern. I can just SEE my FD sitting on a floor like this! And when I get an RX-8 beside it.....damn man....can't get much better!

Congrats on your car, be cool and take care of it.
