What about using the available stereo bay (when an all-in-one head unit is used)??? (Is it big enough?)
I'd like to have the guages higher than that, closer to normal line of sight .. and need to keep that space for storing CDs!

I will take plenty of pics and do a bit of a 'how I did it'.

Cheers
Shaun

Thanks everyone for the input and pics.

I think I have decided to go with the steering wheel pod since I am only looking to get a boost guage at the moment. This way I can get a total of three guages when I decide to add another pod - such as on the dash.

Has anyone put a temp. gauge that looks similar to the stock ones, where the stock one is?
They are a small gauge(not sure what size exactly) but I think it could be done............

I wonder what that would look like?

The slowest gage to react is the egt . Garfinkle mounted his in the cig lighter location with a contured ring to match the curve of the dash .he made it out of brass, painted it black. You must look down to see it but it is the least used one, but it is used. Looks stockand was not an easy job

It's not showing the full address for some reason.
If you go to
r o t o r m o t o r s p o r t s
without the spaces and .com on the end and click on gauges on the left then gauge pods. There's one carbon fiber and one fiber glass version. Is the fiber glass version stock looking? Is that what you have?

i think the stock guages are actually one whole unit. i think gordon (gmonsen) actually put aftermaket guages in, try searching the interior forum for his name, not too sure how easy it was though...

Actually been thinking about a little 2" speaker grill, tweeter or maybe even an led shift light, that would be pretty sweet

I have see a couple of 3 gauge setups that go under a single unit stereo. If you want a "stock" look, this is the way to go. They look really nice. You do have to look a little further away than the "pods", but not much. Just like glancing at your stereo without having to push any buttons. Shouldn't be a problem.

Speaking of gauges, how important is a fuel pressure gauge and how complicated is the install...like the sensor mount?

I know my question is a bit off topic so to be with the rest of the gang I am going with tripower dual gauge pod...so far I have all Defi Link Sys gauges...Boos in Pettit Column Mount, water, EGT, and oil temp in a modified 94+ Integra 3 gauge pod...with the Tripower dual speaker pod I am going to put the fuel pressure and oil pressure....makes for a super clean stock look...right now the triple gauge pod and colum mount get these responses

"Are those stock?"
