You guys are being conned.

First off, the wires cost maybe 1/10th of the price to supply/cut/crimp. The profit margin on these ground kits are ridiculous.

Second, these tests rely on shitty stock grounds, corroded negative terminals, corroded grounds, etc.

You'll notice they do not provide a baseline run with NEW CLEAN stock grounding points and wires. It's basically equivalent to testing a car with a completely clogged stock air filter and then comparing against a new aftermarket cone filter. Whoa, look at that, 30 hp!

Take an ohm meter and test the resistance from various parts of the car to major ground points. You'll see that with good condition grounds even at stock points, there is no problem.

 

Search, this have been discussed many times with some very good pictures.

I used 6ga and 8ga wire to add some extra grounds, and just cleaned the stock ones up some.

Clayne is right. It's a good kit, but a con.
