grinded my brake calipers

bought new wheels, +35 offset but they still hit the front brake calipers. didnt want to buy a spacer so i just grinded down the calipers. got the "mazda" logo all grinded off and smooth, starts looking really good. then brake fluid starts gushing out.

I am a complete idiot.

only good thing is fd parts are easy to find in Japan, already ordered a replacement for 30 bucks. but i still feel like a total idiot.

well....we all have to learn some lessons the hard way. There isn't anyone on the Forum that hasn't done that face-palm, "Did I really just do that???" incident.

So, what is your plan to clear the calipers...spacers?

I was in Super Autobacs last May and I picked up some 5mm spacers for $20. Live and learn.
