greddy waterpump/ alt kit and underdrive main pulley question

Is anyone using this set up and if so, any feedback? I'm wondering if the smaller main pulley means less deflection/contact with the water pump. Does it slip and not really spin the water pump at high rpms?

Tim I run the GReddy pulley kit with a Unorthodox Racing "R" Pulley (AP,PS,A/C removed) and don't have any problems with cooling issues. Even at high rpm's it doesn't seem to be an issue.

David,

What size belt did you end up having to use? Since the kit comes with a belt, but made for the stock main pulley, did it fit or was it to large? If so, what belt size did you use? And did you do the full pull of the ACV with a block off plate or just cap the pipes? Does anyone have a site that details the steps to pull the acv and what to do about the solenoids?

Thanks again,
Tim

www.Robrobinette.com I think that's the rite site adress. I think he has some info on it. If you don't have an ECU that let's them be removed without causing problems, then you need to either just cap all the vacc nipples related to the system or remove the solenoids and replace them with resistors in the electrical plugs.( I'm guessing here on the size, someone else confirm or correct please. 200 or 300 ohm 1or 2 amp resistors. Peolple get them from radio shack) Do a search for resistors, I bet you'd find the correct size there!! Good luck. And the RX7 store has a block off plate kit or you could fab your own.....I just went to the site and looked, didn't find anything on it, maybe i missed it though, too many sites to remember! Anyone got a good site for him?

I've got the PFC and already have the block off plates from Jason, just wondering if it's worth it depending on the time involved.
Does it throw and error code if the solenoid is taken out and no resistor?
