Greddy Type S
anyone have it in the stock location? Cuz i just bought a BRAND SPANKING new one from jason at rx7store, and it doesn't seem to be working.
I've tried it on my car, my friends Fd, both cars it doesn't work.
I tried my friends HKS SSQV, and it works in my car....
checked the Type S's internals for rips in the rubber membrane...nothing.
Soooooooo i was just wondering...does the Type S work in the stock location? On my first FD, i had a black top type S in the stock location, and it didn't work as well....soooo again... does it work in the stock location for the FD's?
i read the other threads....and i'm pretty sure it isn't a vacuum leak because i tried the HKS and it worked in my car....ahhhh i'm lost!!
help?

yea...vacuum lines are fine because i tested my friends HKS SSQV on my car and it works fine....it's just this one doesn't work. I tried the Type S on my friends car...same result...didn't work.
I opened up the BOV checked the rubber membrane inside; it's not ripped.
I tried changing the settings from all the way soft to all the way hard, and multiple settings inbetween. Same result.
I hooked up a pressure source, from T'ing off the manual boost controller vacuum line, to the lower nipple of the BOV, and it seemed to work a little bit. It's very very very quiet now....almost non existing...but i still hear it...barely.
*scratches head* *sighs* i'm lost?
