Greddy type r bov

Does anyone know if the greddy type s flange will work for the type r bov? I have a type r and am going to use it as a pop off valve to save the engine just incase the boost controller fails or something. Also does any have this setup or do you think it will fit welded on the elbow where th type s is?

(so close to single)
thanks guys

I think there was a difference in the old ones, but newer type Rs fit the same flange as a type S, the BOV itself is slightly larger, but if you have some room around the Type S you'll be OK switching to a type R.

Do you think it would fit up there by the shot tower? Also I read a thread somewhere (which i cant seem to find now) about running the second nipple only or something along those lines and it being used as a pop off valve. Does anyone know anything about this?
