Greddy Turbo Timer - Lap function works?

I was wondering if anyone has the Greddy hooked up as a turbo timer, and as well does the lapping function work. I just read somewhere that it's a Japan only thing? Who knows, but I only want to buy the thing if the lapping function works.

Thanks,

David

Turbo timers are for kids that have money to throw away. Instead of buying the turbo timer just give me the money (for my good advice). You will be better off

I think they are useful. I shut down the car and keep the fans running for 2 min.

Agreed. However I was just about to spend $150 or so on a Hot Lap timer, and it seems that for about $80 I can get this which will give me the lap timer, plus the turbo timer for whatever that's worth. The only diff is that I'll have to push a button to register the laps, instead of the transponder/receiver automatic mode with the hot lap............I definitely need to find out how many laps it will register............if it's only about 10 it won't be any good.............I'm hoping for about 50 or so.

Anyone out there know how many it will hold in memory?

TIA.
