It looks really nice. I think it would "ring" a bit (titanium is expensive so would be thin and is sort of like aluminum - only much stronger). It's very expensive. Advantage is you would loose 20-30 lbs. AFAIK that is the only advantage, other than the "cool factor".

That price is crazy. $700 for a catback? You would have to be an all-out racer to need the weight savings because 20 pounds won't do anything. I thought I was high on crack when I bought my HKS Hiper for $500. It just seems like when are these rising prices gonna end? The reason they can charge so much is that people feel they NEED to buy this stuff to make their car so much faster.
The exhaust is not gonna take 1/10 off your quarter mile times or a second off of your lap times. The extra 20 pounds won't do anything, but if you think the exhaust looks cool and is worth the $700 price tag, go for it. For around that price you could buy a good set of tires or suspension components(trailing arms, toe links, Kazz diff) that would really make a difference in your car.

why dont you look at the cat back exhaust systems for other cars like the 350z. 1600 dollars for the stillen exhaust and it only ads 12 horse power and saves like 10 pounds.

i think that greddy exhaust is overrated in my opinion, there are many better exhausts for sale at cheaper prices. The weight factor of titanium is not worth the money unless you are trying to make a full blown track car.

Think about this.
Its JDM TRUST Race Full Exhaust. Its better than the Ti. Price almost the same but its a straight pipping design from MP to End.

I've debated weight options on my car since I'm to the point that HP isn't going to be added cheaply. The PFS exhaust I've had on the car for 8 years weighs roughly 19 lbs. The Rotary Extreme Ti weighs in at 8. Is it worth it to save 11 pound to spend another 900 and maybe get 250 for mine? If I was stock and buying and exhaust for the first time, then I'd go with a Ti exhaust.

the blitz exhaust may have a cheap price but is not built cheap by any means and the weight thing you are so concerned about do you really think saving 10 to 15 lbs. is going to make that big diffrence in the performance of your fd most likley not.
