I can't find any other good vids for you folks. The only thing i can say is under normal driving conditions its not loud at all. As far as highway speeds go too, it can easily be drowned out by a Harley and other cars going by, either that or I'm used to it/my hearing is going; but I don't think its obnoxious in 5th on the hwy. At WOT its loud on a road surrounded by trees or in a tunnel it sounds bad ***, with the seq. twins once the second turbo kicks in that's when it lets you know it means business. Mind you too i drove past two police stations on my normal cruising path and no problems. Annoying speeds to go that cause more sound is between 25-30...in 3rd if you step on the gas a bit it's very bassey as it's somewhat bogged down...but in 2nd it's higher rpms so pretty loud. BTW my step mom has driven my car, she doesn't think it's loud at all and also have taken my grandma for a ride the only time she says it's loud is if i rev it in her parking garage...lol

I love titanium and have had stuff made for my car but loud is subjective. Titanium will be very light but how light is your cat or your down pipe? HKS DP and titanium exhaust, OEM cat and titanium exhaust ...what's the point? 5lbs lighter compared to my 13lbb Buddy Club will not give you 5 more hp even with the butt dyno. With a street port any N1 style exhaust will be extremely LOUD! Those round cans have very little packing (may 1/4"). Don't expect to daily drive on the highway for more then 20 min and it not hurt your ears or you have hearing problems.
If you can get it cheap enough ($650 or less) and you have stock ports then great. Paying $1k and not having a full blown race/track car is fooling yourself. I had a blast with mine on the street setting off alarms on every parked car but I also got a noise ticket even when I was idle. Cop saw a race exhaust on a race car and he said your getting a ticket.

If it starts with JM1FD, its USDM. But has others said, that rear bumber is strickly Euro spec. So if it is a USDM car, someone bought the rear bumber instead of just installing a cheap fog light in the rear to make it legal (like on my case.... rear fog lights are required in europe btw guys).
My car came from the USDM and lots of 7 here in europe are USDM, but there are a few EDMs around, depends alot on the country u're in.
2 oil coolers, defenatly R model... do what BlueTII said to find out if its 1 or 2.

Definitely USDM. Definitely R2 (year is 95)... am I wrong?? I suppose that the rear bumper was changed in order be right with european laws (I think in Spain the rear fog light is a must). So then, if there's an "R" in the vin, it must be a 94, not a 95. Btw, my car is a repainted car, not stock cym.

It's not just the foglights, it's the rear plate. USDM rear bumper has a much smaller indent/space for the licence plate because US plates are much smaller/shorter compared to some European ones. You also would not have enough room in the USDM bumper to put the cheap foglight kit with the size of the plate that is in the picture. Besides, it was probably a requirement of whatever country the car was imported into. For example Canada makes you change the front re-enforecement/crash bar, otherwise they won't let you register the car, you must have a steel crash bar, not the fiberglass one.
As long as the vin starts with JM1 it's a US car. You can try to go to mazda usa website and input all the info that they ask, including the vin and they'll tell you the model right away. Go to mazda.com then select N. and S. America, scroll down to USA, click on OWNERS at the top of the page, than click register now, put in all the necessary info, and on the next page you need to give them the vin. Then they will give you watever info they have for this vin. For the adress in the registration form you can type in whatever US adress, it doesn't matter as long as it exists. I did that to get a recall letter and they gave me whatever thay had but most importantly they showed me that it was a touring model, but I just installed a dual oil cooler kit. They will tell you if it's an R1, R2, touring or whatever. Then if you want to you can delete all of the information that you entered to register. If you neead a valid US adress use 936 Peace Portal Drive, Blaine, WA zip code is 98230 It's a post office.
Hope this helps.
P.S. I love the way that muffler sounds but I'm not so sure about the rolled edge on the tip althogh I could probably get used to it or maybe cut it a little like someone suggested.
Anyone know how much louder it will be with dp, and mid pipe? I'm running full cat-less exhaust with an rb catback and it's loud but acceptable, can still have a conversation while driving without shouting but I assume that greddy will be much louder...am I wrong?

I don't particularly go for the rolled look either but I went a different route for shortening it up. Since I made my own custom metal cat, I shortened it by about an inch pulling in the catback by about the same amount. The cat weighed in at only 6-7 lbs with the reduction, about the same as a midpipe. That's about a 45 lbs weight drop from the downpipe back compared to stock. I would also like to see how the GReddy Ti looks after you cut it. I believe some of the early GReddy Ti's were sold cut instead of rolled.

Actually i have driven next to several cops, one on stupid highway 100 in Milwaukee, and have yet to get pulled over. If you don't drive like a dumb *** and choose your gear right it's not that loud. One followed me for almost 3 miles with several stop lights in between.
