Yes. Yes. and Yes. If you have a strictly stock set-up, you do not need an aftermarket boost controller. If you have upgraded with three or more upgrades (dp, catback, intake, etc.), it is adviseable to get an after market controller to prevent overboost. You are still going to want to hold boost at 10 psi or less if you are running the stock ecu. I would not advise going beyond that without an aftermarket ecu (Power FC, etc.). You must increase fuel if you are going to be boosting beyond 10 psi and the only way to do that is by increasing injector duty cycle and/or larger injectors.

Also, the E-01 is a bit of overkill as it is designed to integrate with the Greddy e-manage system. If you are only interested in controlling boost, then the Profec B Spec II is plenty and $200.00 less.

Just go with the profec B. Either version will do. The earlier one is easier to tune, but theyre both about as straight foreward as it gets. Theyre much cheaper as well. Why waste your money on all the added gadgets you will most likely never use...

Edit: Just making sure, but you do know that you cant just crank up the boost on these cars without lots of supporting mods, right?

search using the terms "profec e-01". Almost no one uses this thing, it is way overpriced and complicated for what you need a boost controller to do.
