Greddy Profec B SPec-II HELP PLEASE?!?

alright, i have this installed on my car (mods listed in sig) and leave it off.

im going to the track this weekend, and wanna up the boost a little bit. pretty much, ill leave this thing on daily driving just for reliability issues. just wanting this for track/racing situations.

iim boosting 7.5 lbs now, and i was told i could boost 10 lbs safely with my mods.

my problem is, all these things are done in %'s and i dont understand, and need help.

SET: it say's 0% is the stock boost, the % controls boost in the relation to the turbos/wastegate's abilities. my wastegate and turbos are stock. anyone with estimates or SURE #"s that'll be good?

GAIN: used to adjust boost consistency, to keep turbos from falling off at high rpms, and prevent boost spikes. Anyone with estimates or SURE #'s that'll be good?

START BOOST: this is used to open the wastegate i guess, and obviously, begin boosting. im sure this can be hazardous if you start boosting to early. Anyone with estimates or SURE #'s that'll be good?

WARNING and LIMITER....again, any #'s would be good?

keep in mind, im only wanting to boost 10 psi.

thanks for all your help!

set your boost all the way down then slowly increase it till you get the right results, remember that you need to do a WOT run after every change to make sure everything is right, I would go to at least 5krms way after the secondary turbo kicks in.

basily make sure you dont over boost

You do realize that 10psi is the stock amount of boost? And you've got an ECU that can handle more than 10psi?

But, it's good to stay conservative.

Anyhow, set the gain for the boost controller in the middle, and start tuning. If the car overshoots your target boost, back off QUICK, change settings, and try again. But, most times, you'll just be slowly adjusting your way up, not down.

Just go out and play with it - the Profec B is easy to use and set up. Try building a full RPM-based map with an AVC-R .

Really depends on what you're comfortable with. I'd probably stay at 12psi tops with the stock intercooler.
