Greddy profec b spec 2
I have seen many threads and have decided to install the controller via version 1. Since my car is RHD(JDM), i've noticed that some of the pictures I've searched up is LHD.
My questions are:
1. In picture 1 do i run the wires through the boots by drilling holes?
2. In picture 2 we see the fuse box and i would like to know where to run the 12v power cords (red and black) and how?
3. In picture 3 how do i run the wires to the profec b location for it to look sleek? under the carpet?
4. In picture 4 is this a good place to run the box? (note the long screw is just temporary)
Any help will be much appreciated!

I have a Greddy Profec B Spec 1 sitting in a box waiting to be installed so I can't answer all of your questions but I can help with a few. Keep in mind also that I have a LHD FD so I'm not sure that my answers will completely apply.
1. It is probably better that you run your wiring and vacuum tubing (if a vacuum tube is required for spec 2) through the grommits that are accessible under the driver's side front fendor. Going through the steering wheel column will work for quick wiring jobs, but it typically is not considered the preferred method. I will admit that I have ran wiring through the steering wheel boot when hurried but I wouldn't drill or cut anything. If it is just wires you can force them through the steering wheel boot without disconnecting the boot completely and without drilling or cutting. Again, the preferred method is to go through the grommits that the rest of the electronics go through by the fuse box and behind the driver side front wheel.
2. 12v power cords could mean many things. Is it 12v constant or 12v switched? And typically black (and green) are grounds. You may want to look into that a bit more before installing anything.
3. I have a Defi gauge controller installed in that location and I ran my wires below the steerig wheel, above the pedals. If you stick your head where the driver's feet belong and look up, you'll see a lot of wires that are already running from the fuse box to the center console. Just use what is already there as a guide. If you do it right, you won't be able to see a single wire.
4. The profec Spec 1 comes a much bigger "stepper motor", but my intention is to install mine at roughly the same location. Ideally I think you want to be pretty close to the items you'll be interfacing with (turbos, wastegate, etc...) and you want to keep the box away from a lot of heat (which is kind of impossible in the FD's engine bay)

Some of them included the installation of the electronics inside the cab. I am not on the same computer where those are bookmarked but I bet they are still out there.

Black is ground, and red should go to a source that's switched with the key, unless you don't mind turning it off everytime manually. I ran mine through the same spot as the ECU, and mounted the unit under the radio, and tied it into my aftermarket stereo wiring. Run the wires under the dash and behind the radio and all that. Probably easiest to remove the radio. You can use a metal hanger to help route wires, just use some tape on the end to fish wires around. Also the Profec B spec II reverts back to 14.5 psi warning until the unit is played with after a power cycle. It's rather annoying. You also need a vacuum line routed to the unit.

Ok well i fixed problem 1 by drilling a hole through the firewall next to the throttle body line, It'll be cleaner and less pressure on the wires than squeezing them through cracks and tight holes. Problem 4 I mounted it next to the headlight for it to look cleaner and not have to unmount it everytime i need to remove my intakes. Thanks alot for your help and ideas.I will keep you guys updated
