You cannot lower the boost lower then stock or your wastegate spring set rate. I think I heard of members going to as low as 7psi.

why cant you lower it below stock/wastegate sprong set rate?? you cant do it to reduce wear and tear and in some cases make it a better street car??

i guess you can think of it as a BOV... just in the complete opposite funtion.

the spring in the BOV will only allow it to hold a certain amount of boost before it reaches its limit. theres a limit as to how hard the spring will be, but there is no limit as to how soft it can be.

well the wastegate works the same way, just backwards. you can make the wastegate open at higher boost levels, but theres a limit as to how low you can boost (without modifying the wastegate).

It makes sense...7 is the lowest you can go unless you change some of the mechanics (not worth it). Besides, 7 is pretty darn low and safe.
