GReddy Pressure Relief Valve

I was thinking about purchasing a GReddy pressure relief valve as added safety ( http://shop.edoperformance.com/produ...oducts_id=3215 ) but after reading the description, I'm a bit puzzled. According to my calculations, the minimum pressure release point of .08 kg/mm2 would be about 114 psi! How in the world would this save my engine if I'm only going to push 17 psi max? Obviously I'm doing something wrong, so can someone clear this up for me? TIA.

Wrong conversion. 08 kg/mm2 * 14.2 = about 11 PSI

Pop Off valves used to be fairly popular a few years ago. They are a nice safety feature but they shouldn't replace a boost controller, only augment one.
