Exclamation greddy guage harness help (urgent)

Need help identifying what color wires go where. Theres White, black (ground), orange, and red (power?) Any ways, not to sure which is which..... Trying to finish the install of the boost and water temp guage today.

Also both the guages have the same powr harness with the same color wires so shouldnt I be able to splice them together and then to the power source?

i cant remember exactly which wires i used, you can search to see what which colors go to what and then find something that works. black is ground, white is a light red is a 12v constant and orange is a 12v ignition or something, search because im going from memory and it sucks.

i had the same exact 2 gauges on a center pod, i used wiring from the radio underneath, but i also had no stereo at all in the car so i didnt care about hacking up that wiring. i did the grounds to one of the shifter bolts.

i did splice the same color from each harness into the same 1 source and that works!

Well as it turns out im going to have to get some new wires and connectors to be able to reach from the a pillar down toards my other wiring but i did solve my main problem which turned out to be the hardest. Finding a way through the firewall. I went through a prexisting hole where the hood latch release cable goes through. Pain in the *** with my big hands but better than drilling somewhere else or removing the wheel well like some people said too.

there is an existing hole down there that has like a rubber plug/grommet on it, i dont think thats what you found. this one is decent sized and has nothing else ran through it. like it was put there for stuff like this. its perfect i ran wiring from my gauges and boost controller stuff all through there. you need to pull down the carpet and take out the fender liner to find it i think but thats pretty easy.

its harder with the pillar spot. when i had one there it was a mechanical gauge so it was grounded to a bolt down by the ecu and i ran the power off the ashtray in the center console. my boost controller was ghetto just off the fuse box which isnt a good idea.

when i moved to the center pod and added a temp gauge they were electronic so there were way more wires so thats when i used the radio and cig lighter wires.

the center ashtray is a good source for power/light because you can get the lighting to work with the dimmer and its not too hard to run wires over there.
