Greddy gauge wiring??

Where did you tap the following wires from??
12v constant
12v ignition
12v illumination (I know ash tray, but I have six gauges to wire and indiglo won't that blow the fuse?)
Chassis Ground (does this need to be grounded with the same ground as the illumination for the dimming to work?)
Negative Ground Output for Warning Gauges (don't know what this means??)

I am planning on doing this tomorrow so help would be appreciated. Wire locations and colors would be really helpful. I have the wiring diagrams, but I am not too versed in reading them. Thanks for the help

BE CAREFUL. i cant stress it enough so i put it in all caps. i wired my gauge off the stuff from my radio, and it messed up my headlight wiring. my yellow projectors got stuck on and wont turn off anymore. sucks

but for the constant youll prolly want to use a multimeter and probe for power with the ignition off. for the ignition wire, you can use one from any switched power source, like the radio.

illumination, you can use the one from the radio again, buit i think thats what screwed me so be careful. you can also use cigarette lighter illumination wire.

chassis ground, just has to be grounded, ground anywhere id assume.

the crazy yellow wire is for using the warning and peak hold and special gauge features, i just left it out cause im still trying to diagnose my problem

its actually a very easy install, but it can go horribly wrong, i can tell you that first hand.

btw screw the T-Taps that trust gives you, strip the wires and solder them after you are sure everthing is good, those t-taps didnt even pierce 3 out of 4 of the wires when i did it the first time. hope this helps

Man, you guys make it more difficult than it really is!
In the fuse block under your left foot is 2 female bladed taps, one is ignition switched, one constant 12V. Use the multimeter to figure which is which, piece of cake.
I use the ashtray illumination as well, never any problems. Ground can be anywhere metal, basically.
