Greddy Full Auto timer install?

who has installed this in thier FD... im not very inclined in the whole electrical area, but i bought the harness for it as well... can anyone help me with the install on this, i looked at the Greddy website and that just confused me more, if anyone knows of a walkthrough that was done on an FD let me know

Don't do it. Sell it and get back what you can. Turbo timers are a waste of money.

If you're bent on installing it, though, post pics of what you've got and I can tell you what connector you need to find.

ill get some pics for ya in a couple minutes... but im in a very hot part of AZ and i want my car to cool down a little after driving it before it shuts off

Idling your FD won't cool it down. In fact, running the engine while stopped actually raises underhood temps... check this thread out; it's pretty well-known...

after a hot run at the track i always let it cool down too... is that bad?

I don't know man. If your track runs are excessively hot, maybe you should consider other cooling options? Radiator, dual oil coolers (assuming you don't already have them), fan switch modification...

All I know is that the engine bay heats up FAST when you idle without moving. I've watched my water temp climb to 98*C in traffic WITH fans on. Heater on, full blast, and it "helped." Got me down to 95*C.

Driving around the pits (if you can't do any cool down laps) while not boosting is the best way to bring temps back down.
