Question Greddy FMIC on FD

I just installed my greddy FMIC and just started driving it around. When I get out of the car and it is idling while the turbo timer counts down I can hear a weard pppssssss kind of sound I checked to see it any hoses or lines were leaking and saw nothing. Any body have any Ideas. I also had to take the stock air intake of and don't have a air filter on the intake pipes. Could that be the reason?
