Exclamation Greddy FMIC- fan connectory problem

I am installing the Greddy 2 row fmic and have run into a problem with the fan connectors. I have a koyo radiator and the connectors wont reach over it to the fuse box. How have you guys solved this problem?

I had to cut my wires and extend the length.

Cut one wire, solder more in, wrap the open connections and repeat until done, then wrap all the exposed wires together.

Yeap, that's what I did. I extended them long enough so you don't even see the wires. I have them going around the radiator instead of over the radiator.

The fan wires are zip-tied to the factory fans/fan shroud - by clipping off all the zip-ties, you should get enough slack in the wiring to stretch it over the Koyo radiator.

see great pics and install tips here:

My fan connectors BARELY hook up over the top of my Koyo, but they do. Once I have the time I will extend them under the radiator though. As ijneb said, its pretty easy, just take your time.

Had same problem here, fan wiring was really tight, I was worried that when the engine moves under high load, it might create enough stress to damage the fan wiring connection. I just extended them.
