greddy FMIC 2-row and stock radiator

does any one see any water temp problems in using the FMIC and stock rad? the rad. does stay mounted in the stock location. i will be replacing it but i have seen single turbo people using the stock red. still. i know copper is better than aluminum , but that the stock rad is thin. my supporting mods are apexi intake, aexi gt spec exhaust, greddy bov, water and boost gauge, turbonetics boost controller. , stock boost seq. set up...

any advice is helpful.

thanks

I believe with the greddy 2 row, you have to reposition the rad. I know i did. No water temp problems.

Obviously in hot weather along with stop and go will increase water temp but nothing to extreme that will make you go back to a smic. Now if you track the car, that might be an issue. If you're a drag guy, this might be to your advantage.

Lots of things to consider before you do it.

Most people do it for cosmetics. Some dont. Etc

Like what Ulost2my7 said, you have to relocate the rad vertically. The fmic will not fit unless you move it. I changed to my koyo rad and I still had overheating problems, but that was due to airpockets in the cooling system and lack of sealing.

Stock radiator is garbage. I've been around these cars long enough to know that they all crack in time due to the plastic end tanks and excessive heat. Upgrade it before it breaks.
