GReddy Evo vs. PE exhaust

I'm getting tired of looking at my GReddy Power Extreme exhaust which has been on the car for pretty much it's entire life. I was looking at the EVO which apparently has the same sized piping. I'm trying to keep it quiet and a little more stealthy and I like the offset muffler (and it'll give me more clearance for a rear diffuser). Has anyone switched from the PE to the Evo? Any difference in sound? I'm thinking the slightly smaller EVO canister may allow for more noise. Perhaps technology or their design has marched ahead however. Dunno. Just want to hear a first hand experience with this exhaust. If I had my choice it'd be a JIC titanium :-) The PE with the Borla XR1 in the midpipe and a single turbo is tolerable and sounds pretty darn good at WOT. Just want something a tad bit smaller with good sound supression. Hate the RB exhaust. Too restrictive.

I thought the Evo was basically the exact same thing except for the offset tip. I don't know if it would change the sound at all. This was replacing the PE all together, right? I've got the PE too. Yeah, it's a grapefruit warmer. I'm kinda thinking about the same thing. Mine has somehow raised up a bit, so it's touching (read melting) the bumper. Oh well....
