GReddy elbow install question
I have a greddy elbow to install and my question is the bigger hose going to it; looks like an air control valve for like A/C?? or something?
Anywho the question is should i tap a fitting in elbow? I was just gonna put a block off plate on it, will it idle low when a/c is on??
Thanks

It's the Accelerated Warm-up System (AWS) hose. I vented mine with a little K&N filter at first, but it blew too much oil out onto the firewall and manifold for my liking. I've had it plugged for the 5 years since that time. I first plugged it when I lived in Michigan, and my car would occasionally stall on cold starts with it plugged (not a big problem, but it was a little annoying). However, I moved to a warmer climate since then and don't have the cold start issue anymore. I would try plugging it first by removing the hose and using one of those rubber caps from the auto parts store with a hose clamp on it. If you get some stalling on cold starts, consider installing a nipple on the GReddy elbow (thread in or weld on) and connect the hose to restore the AWS functionality.

BTW, the Greddy elbow doesn't have the nipple since Japanese cars don't have AWS. Must be nice .
