Question Greddy E-01??

The new Greddy boost controller looks pretty sweet. Would it be benificial to purchase this, or would the profec B probally be a better choice? Here's the link

i suppose it depends what your looking for.. that has an *** load of options to it... and looks damn cool. But if your looking to keep it simple and easy to use.. go with the B. In the long run they will both do what you want them to do, just one does a little extra.

I got my E-01 last week. One word - AMAZING.

Here's the manual -

Not only will it control boost 9 ways from Sunday, but it also has TONS of datalogging/monitoring/warning features.

It really isn't "fuzzy logic" like the oft-lamented Profec A. It does have an auto boost mode for easy setup, but it also has a manual setup. You can also define a "start boost", where it will hold the wastegate shut until it reaches that boost level for better spoolup. Not to mention gain, duty cycle by RPM, etc.

You can monitor/log/warn 2 analog and 2 pulse inputs with it as well. And, yes, you can monitor/log the output from a wideband O2 sensor if it has a 0-5v output for datalogging.

I'm still stunned after messing around with it - this thing is simply incredible!

I'll be happy to answer any specific questions about the unit. Unfortunately, my car is still on jackstands, so I haven't road tested it. But, I have hooked it up to a battery and given it a thorough workout .

I'm picking up my e-01 this week, how's the installation with it? is it complicated or pretty simple?? any tips on the install would be great!

My car is still in a serious state of not being put together, so I've yet to really install it. But, the installation isn't any harder or different than any other boost controller. You do have to wire it up to an RPM signal as well as power and ground, but that's no biggie.

I wish i had the money for one of those, but 500 bucks is a lot, when there is other things that need to be done first.
