Greddy BOV RS Help

Hey i have brought a Greddy BOV type rs and there is no noise when revving the car... do u set it to the softest setting our the hardest??? hope someone can help me out on this...

You want to adjust the valve to the softest position that doesn't allow vacuum leakage. Then leave it alone. If it's too tight, it will cause compressor surge.

Hm.... people were telling me to set it at the hardest!!! i will give it a try and set it to the softest later on... i thou it would be loud oin my car as am running a single turbo...

well its not going to be loud just revving it as you arent under and real load and making any real boost...but keep it where its at in the middle to prevent boost leak and also prevent compressor surge...I set mine a little harder because i am running higher boost levels, and actually that diaphram inside is only rated to 23 psi...mine blew out after 6 months of 25 + lbs of boost. I just bought another diaphram and its fine. Mine is just as loud as any other typical bov that vents into the atmosphere.

Am running about 1.2bar boost... just abit worried as it says in the installation booklet that if engine stalls the brakes and steering will not operate properly and can be very dangerours...

just pop the hood and make it a little softer at a time while the car is on...you can rev the engine to see if the bov opens
