greddy 3 piece pipe kit

Anyone have trouble installing this? I did it earlier today and the lower intercooler pipe, (one that connects to crossover pipe) dosent fit worth ****. I tried for hours to fit it and in the end, it all came together. I have about a half a cm of clearance now between the pipe and the main pulley. Also my stock crossover pipe wont align with the mounting holes. I think its made for the efini y pipe, anyone have any info?

I have run into this a few times when installing it with the stock IC. I believe it fits better with the Greddy SMIC. However. How i got it to fit was to either just release the bottom bolts that hold the IC to the crossbar and let it come forwards a little. This will just leave the bottom IC loose. I went further and just made a couple of strips that extended the mounting points further forwards.( gaining the same thing as just removing the bolts, but still having it secure.)

In the end it is still a tight fit. But it will get in there with some minor fabrication or just removing the bolts.

And the obvious ? is you did try it both ends up right? I mean flip the pipe to see if it fit better? I assume you did. As i stil had the clearence issue with it either way.
BTW: Nice CYM really i like them.

Just remembered that i think i had to slot the top IC bracket holes to get the whole thing to come forwards. ( The 2 holes that go onto the bumper support )

better solution to the clamps would be to get some T-style clamps from here. they will not chew thru the couplers like the ones greddy sends you.And won't loosen up with heatsink. But none the less re-check them often.
