greddy 2row FMIC intake pics?
greddy 2row FMIC intake pics?
I've thrown on a few K & N filters but they barely fit because they come in contact with the i/c piping. Please show some pics of your setup..pics of the greddy intake are cool too... TIA
Alright I can send you pics of my set up. It's the greddy airinx dual intake and a greddy 2 row FMIC. I don't know about any two row front mount intakes.. give me a couple of mins. If you have a valid e-mail. I think it takes a few for pics to be approved on this site.
e-mail me your e-mail addy. I'll send you the set up in the am. the fit is very tight with my set up. I didn't do it on my own. I know the bottom filter presses up against the mid intercooler piping but it doesn't do any harm being there.

This is not going to help.. Maybe it might..
This is my set up..
Primary turbo - older Apexi intake tube (modified and polished by Garfinkle).
Secondary Turbo - Blitz intake tube, extended and polished by Garfinkle
Both intakes have Blitz SS filters.

I have a similar setup with K & Ns. The top filter is just clamped to the pipe near the manifold. And the second is angled up close to where your bov is. Would i benefit from pointing it in front of the fan? I figured the air there would be hotter...Thanks for the pic!
bricke, I have the exact same set up pretty much. atleast the intakes. the fluidyne rad and the dual intakes. Same FMIC. I don't have the pulley set up or that wicked headlight conversion. If i didn't know better, that looks very KD. thats a sweet machine. sweet set up too mac. It's really great to see what kinds of parts or options define peoples style or performance objectives.

Thanks! It looks like your FMIC couplers turned black too eh? Mine won't come clean, I guess it's time to order some silicon ones. Nice Blizt cap on the AST removal

Also, I'd move your battery outta there. One of my battery posts starting rubbing a hole through the FMIC pipe so it had to go!
The common theme here is that GReddy's Airinx intake is about the only intake that will fit with their Type 24 (2-row) or Type 32 (3-row) V-spec FMIC kits. It's standard to upgrade your rad core to Fluidyne or Koyo (Koyo has the largest core size). Don't forget to stuff foam around the rad core and FMIC core to force air THROUGH the FMIC core and rad core, instead of around the cores (CrispyRx7 and FritzFlynn taught me this trick). A vented hood would also help with keeping things cool (last thing on my list along with a repaint and new wheels LOL

I have an old style greddy 3 row intercooler and it looks like that pipe would work perfect
