I second the Racing Beat cat back exhaust. If you see one for sale used here on the forums, jump on it quick!

You can get a good used brand name DP here too. Or new from Jason at Rx7store.net or gathamracing.com

Make sure you wrap the downpipe b4 you intall it. Search on that too

I saw someone who had a ceramic-coated DP, MP, and other stuff for sale on Ebay. Try that one, and find out what mfr it is - Bonez comes to mind (a good brand) but don't quote me.

Got a d.p. and m.p. in polished SS, $130 shipped...Ebay. They look awesome, the mounting plates appear to have all openings to mount up without any modification of the car. Btw, the box is labelled Top Speed.

Research downpipes a bit and you'll probably find that the main issue is fitment and install. I would recommend you get a downpipe from a manufacturer where fitment is not an issue.

I've been burned by ebay parts....

I checked again and the guy doesnt have any forsale right now. But check back in a little but and he will prob have em. His E bay user name is dohccivicna1250. He also sells these B&M style short shifts. But here is a link to a downpipe/midpipe combo that looks just the same. The buy it now is $165.00 http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33630
If you read the auction, he says that he welcomes group buys. I think that someone should get ahold of him and set up a group buy.
Yeah, hopefully he'll have some soon. Thanks!

Yeah, my buddy does ceramic coating for a living. I had that in mind when I was looking for that DP & MP.

More on my MP and DP:

The holes that people normally have fitment issues with are preslotted on the set a bought. The holes for the alignment pins are also made into one of the brackets, so they don't have to be removed from the car.

If you do a few searches you'll see that even Petit units have fitment issues, not to mention they're not polished SS, and are double what I paid.
