Angry got my clutch fix, got a new problem

Well today after picking up my car from the mech I went to turn my lights on and notice that the instrument lights didn't come on at all. So I firgure is just a fuze. Well I get home (just up the street) and notice that the only lights coming on are the headlights no parking, no linsence plate lights at all. But my blinkers work and my brake lights work. So I check the fuzes and find the fuze for the tails poped. I replace it and the same thing happens twice even with a larger fuze. It only happens when I hit the light switch on the steering column, so thats going to be the first place I look. I know that I should take the car back to the mech and have him firgure it out but if this is simple enough I can probably deal with it because he is going to do the samething I'm going to do look for the short. If anybody has any idea where to start would be great. Non of the lights on the dash work including the glove box, parking lights and the tail lights, but my radio works.

Sounds like you have a short in the wiring that's causing the fuse to keep blowing. Find what it is that you do that makes them blow, then follow all the wires, don't be afraid to unwrap some if you have to.

The cable going frome the Gearbox to the motor is jamed between the motorhousing and the gearbox housing. Damaging the cables and making shortouts in the cables.
Check to see it a cable is jamed between the motor and the gearbox. It's on your left side(Driver Side).

Go back to the mech and tell them the problem and show them where the cable is jammed. If that's the problem.

Well, I'd start by looking around the area he touched. If all he did was the clutch, start looking in it's immediate vacinity. But if I were you, I'd have the mechanic do it. If it worked when you brought it in, and it doesn't now, it's their responsibility to fix it.
