Got my car back from KDR after street port and some other mods (pics, large)

8psi runs

10psi runs

12psi runs

14psi runs

I have a highflow cat and the normal pulleys, plus the dyno room was around 100 toward the later runs. if the results are still low but I'm happy with the car.

How do you figure? I thought they seemed reasonable for what was done.

Yeah, I'll probably switch to either larger twins or single next year. Dave wasn't sure what map to use becuase people don't normally have stupidly large injectors with twins but he did a great job.

airborne - Thanks, they're the upgraded twins from pettit but that mainly just makes them run cooler.

I dynoed at 368 to the wheels at 15 psi at Dave's w/the below mods. This was with NGK 11.5s all around, and thr runs took place in March; I'm sure both helped my numbers.

Regardless, those are good numbers for such hot weather. You should be happy that one of the best FD tuners around was able to get your car running right--many people don't have the luxury of going to Dave

Nice looking numbers, especially considering the heat and humidity. What are your A/Fs? (Oh oh, now I've done it...)

Take the high flow cat off. Run the midpipe. You'll kind a huge difference.

cheers

****! Those pics are huge. I think you should get rid of that high flow and put a midpipe. Also, nice FD.

Rich .... where did you get that AST, with the small stock mazda type cap? And did you have the Bonez hi-flow cat in for 368 hp run?

Thanks. The a/f rose from about 11.5 to 11.9 as the engine wound out, probably because of the auto retard on the PFC.

It's a Tri-Point AST that I bought over 3 years ago.

Believe it or not, the car put down 368 peak with the high flow cat and stock twins. I wasn't there for the dyno, and unfortunately Dave's hard drive crashed not too long after the runs. Because of this I have no hard copy, but I trust what Dave tells me

i saw the 8psi heading, and the numbers looked good. however, what boost were you running when you got 322 whp? if it were 8psi as well, your numbers are as impressive as rikki's were on 11psi.....

The 322 whp run was one of the 14psi ones. At that point the ambient air temps were over 100 though. It was 30-40 degrees cooler in there for the 8psi runs.
