I agree as well.

Once you enter dynamic coefficient of friction, the car is basically a slave to inertia.

About all you can do is ask nicely.

"Both feet in."

look out, alot of inbread cops like to call learning to slide in an empty parking lot at 2am "reckless driving". expecially where i live.

also my r1's stock ecu used to let me rev well into 9k, i never hit fuel cut on that thing.

before someone starts mentioning the fabled hachi roku - I've seen more than one drift comp where the hachi roku contigent was almost all forced induction (4agze, custom jobs and more than a few sr20det swaps)
Sorry for the off topic post, but...

Not all turbo charged cars are bad for drifting however if you have seen the "Best Motoring NA vs. Turbo" vid then you might change your opinion.

A flat torque line is considered a good quality for a sports car. Getting the tires to slip a little and a lot is a very fine line especially with a turbo charged car that has torque peaks.

Same where I live... the first week I had my car I went to an empty parking lot for the same reason of learning to control my car and got a wreckless driving ticket

You'll learn a lot more with their course walk throughs and advice from experienced drivers then you will by spinning your car out of control in a parking lot and trying to figure it out on your own. If you're nice, then likely an experienced driver will let you ride shotgun or ride along with you. I didn't check the schedules, but I'm sure they offer driving schools.

..... IMO autocross is a great way to learn safely.
Best advice on this thread

It will teach you where the limits are on your car, in a safe legal environment.
